Trufiturismo in the Alto Tajo. Hiking, nature… and truffles

Hiking, mycology

A walk to get to know one of the stars of haute cuisine. The black truffle (tuber melanosporum) is a prized fungus found under the ground, linked to the roots of certain trees, highly appreciated for its aroma and flavor in gastronomy.

The mycological walk will be accompanied by an experienced truffle collector and his trained dogs.

The objective of the activity is to acquire knowledge about this product, to see how it is extracted from the soil, to know the differences between the different types, the smell it produces…and finally, to taste this authentic delicacy.
