Savia Ecotourism
Savia Ecoturismo is the summary of a lifetime dedicated to rural development and environmental conservation. Commitments to biodiversity conservation and local development
- We focus our activities on the knowledge and interpretation of nature, involving the visitor with the territory and making awareness-raising days and environmental education workshops in which we use recycled and ecological materials, as well as collaborating in different local development initiatives and study projects, conservation and enhancement of the natural and cultural resources of the Serranía de Cuenca.
- We work with groups of maximum 12 people per guide, our aim is to reduce our impact on the environment as much as possible and to offer a sustainable day adapted to the needs and preferences of the group, avoiding car journeys on forest tracks and transit in sensitive areas of special protection, as well as collaborating with the collection of waste during the guided routes.
- We live in the heart of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, carrying out various actions in favour of rural development and the local population. We carry out guided visits to aromatic crops, truffle plantations and traditional orchards, in order to raise awareness of the importance of consuming organic and local products, ending the days in local restaurants with a tasting of seasonal products.
- We also collaborate in initiatives that promote the development and conservation of the natural and ethnographic heritage of the Cuenca highlands, carrying out activities that highlight the rural culture and the dedication and expertise of local ranchers, farmers and artisans, collaborating with local establishments, accommodation and producers.
