La Rinconada de las Tablas de Daimiel
La Rinconada de las Tablas is a rural house within the surroundings of the Tablas de Daimiel National Park, from which it is just 10 minutes away by car. The building is more than 100 years old and has been adapted for tourism. The building has all the essential services such as wifi, heating, swimming pool, barbecue…etc.
It is a typical construction of La Mancha, perfectly preserved, which still keeps the flavour of these difficult to find constructions.
The environment for nature lovers is unsurpassable, to the north the Montes de Toledo, a perfectly preserved Mediterranean mountain, then a steppe area where we can observe species unique in Europe, and finally, to the south, the main wetland of La Mancha, the National Park of Las Tablas de las Tablas de Daimiel.
Commitments to biodiversity conservation and local development
Nature conservation has always been a priority for us, so in La Rinconada we try to make agriculture and conservation go hand in hand.
Numerous actions have been carried out to this end, among which I can highlight:
- Construction of a primillar to recover an old lesser kestrel colony.
- Rehabilitation of a dovecote used as a hunting ground for various birds of prey such as goshawks, golden eagles and imperial eagles.
- Iberian lynx habitat recovery project in Montes de Toledo. – Placement of nesting boxes for various species.
- Water points in different areas of the estate.
- Arboretum with more than 100 different species.
- Nature Observatory.
- Reforestation of holm oak and stone pine trees, where numerous birds breed and breed.
- Formation of “ecolindes spaces between plots of land with native vegetation of the Mediterranean scrubland that serves as a refuge and breeding area for many species, especially insects.
- Our crops are organically grown.
- Feeding troughs for insectivores.

Accommodation features
This rural house is fully rented, it is not shared with anyone else and has a capacity for 16 people.
It is a very spacious house, an old farmhouse, with no luxuries but lacking nothing and above all with an unrivalled exterior, surrounded by vineyards and pistachio trees, with a large garden, forming part of an agricultural estate where the conservation of nature and the environment is as important as agricultural production.

Environment
The surroundings of La Rinconada could not be more beautiful and exceptional, it is located in a sea of vineyards, to the north with the Montes de Toledo, then a steppe area of La Mancha classified as a priority area for the European Union for the endemisms that exist there, and further south the National Park of Las Tablas de Daimiel.
