This is Entreparques, located in the northwest of the province of Ciudad Real between the mountains of Toledo and Campo de Calatrava, an authentic nearby paradise that wants to publicize its tourist attractions.

A place where you can let time go by, immerse yourself in its landscapes and leave them with a fuller soul. From the natural point of view, Entreparques is characterized by its great variety and the high environmental value of its numerous protected areas, such as the Cabañeros National Park, which has an enormous diversity of animal and botanical species. The landscape is reminiscent of the African savannah, populated by deer and oaks as gazelles and acacias, without forgetting its skies crossed by impressive flocks of black and griffon vultures and birds of prey such as imperial eagles. In addition, its particular geology makes it a real natural jewel full of fossils in the area of Boquerón de Estena or waterfalls in the Chorro de los Navalucillos.
Of great relevance are its volcanic resources, such as the Navas de Malagón, three volcanic lagoons, or maares, at the foot of the Sierra with which it shares its name. These natural areas have a variable salinity, which favors an enormous biological diversity, are Natural Reserve, Special Protection Area for Birds, which together with its rarity and vulnerability make it necessary to practice responsible tourism. It is common to see flamingos walking through its waters among other migratory birds that make Entreparques their usual or temporary home. It is not the only natural lagoon that can be enjoyed in Entreparques, we also find the Volcano and the Peñarroya Lagoon, declared a Natural Monument, which has a great geomorphic and scenic value.
Another of the great charms of Entreparques is found in its fluvial resources, the Bullaque River. The park is a perfect place to enjoy water activities, such as canoeing, and at the same time you can enjoy its vegetation, where a spectacular colony of water lilies stands out. And nothing like ending the walk through the Estrecho de las Hoces, where its panoramic views will make travelers fall in love, and feel how time does not move forward thanks to the beauty of the place.
Entreparques offers different plans related to its numerous samples of heritage and varied cultural manifestations such as its festivals. The mayos and the crosses and the Llegá that are celebrated in the villages of the Montes de Toledo, the Corpus of Porzuna, or the luminaries of Fontanarejo recall ancestral traditions. But it also has more contemporary experiences such as the route of the Titans, which shows us gigantic silos decorated by renowned graffiti artists in towns like Porzuna and Malagón. And of course it is always a good time to taste the renowned Manchego cheeses of the area or the typical game dishes.
