Ecotourism Cuenca
Located in the very noble and very loyal, faithful, heroic and undaunted city of Cuenca (Spain), in Ecoturismo Cuenca we are lovers of nature and rural culture, and we want to share our passion with society through guided tours to the most emblematic natural areas of the province of Cuenca, interpretive hiking trails and themed activities in nature. In Ecoturismo Cuenca we offer experiences that reconnect us with nature and our villages, aimed at all types of public, and oriented to learn about the natural and rural world and interact with them, to soak up the flora, fauna, geomorphological caprices and the forgotten culture of our natural environment through its interpretation.
Commitments to biodiversity conservation and local development
In Ecoturismo Cuenca we promote responsible trips to natural spaces and rural areas to discover them while contributing in a practical way to their conservation, without generating impacts on the environment and having a positive impact on the local population. According to the International Ecotourism Society, true Ecotourism must meet the following criteria: Conservation, Social Development, Economic Development, Awareness, Participation, Co-responsibility and Emotion; and this is precisely what we promote at Ecoturismo Cuenca. We therefore adopt various measures to strengthen our ethical and environmental commitment, and we work actively and collaboratively with conservation and ecotourism promotion initiatives. We have been founding members of the Castilla-La Mancha Ecotourism Association, recently integrated in the Castilla-La Mancha Active Tourism and Ecotourism Association. We always work with small groups, and we collaborate with local entities in the development of our products and collaborative products to promote rural development. In addition, the guides and monitors of Ecoturismo Cuenca work in the field of environmental consultancy, so they contribute to the development of projects for the conservation of biodiversity in the province of Cuenca.

Materials
For routes and activities where wildlife observation is the main objective, we provide binoculars and spotting scopes. We also offer the possibility for those accompanying you on our routes and activities to save on transport to your location, as we have a 9-seater van.

Price
Half-day routes and activities are priced at 35 €/pax (VAT included). The full day courses are priced at 65 €/pax (VAT included), and include lunch. In general, we offer a 50% discount for children under 10 years old, a 10% discount for tourist visitors staying in rural locations close to the route or activity requested, and a 20% discount for groups of 8 people or more. Discounts are not cumulative. We also have a special rate of 180 €/guide (VAT included) for organised groups.
