Discover Alcudia
Descubre Alcudia is an EcoTourism and Cultural Management Company that was created in 2013 with the intention of promoting the natural and cultural heritage of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona Natural Park and Campo de Calatrava. We are a company specialised in ornithological routes, walking routes and cultural and environmental knowledge of the surroundings, educational outreach activities and environmental education events.

Commitments to biodiversity conservation and local development
We advocate the conservation and defence of our environment as the main element of sustainable development; for this reason, every year we hold the FESTIVAL DE LAS GRULAS VALLE DE ALCUDIAThis event takes place in the heart of the Alcudia Valley in the village of La Bienvenida (Almodóvar del Campo) between the Natural Monument of Los Castillejos and next to the Iberian-Roman Tartessian site of Sisapo, and aims to highlight the natural and cultural resources of our area and, of course, to celebrate the fact that these wintering birds visit us every year. Designed for all ages.
We also conferences, talks and activities that raise awareness of the 1st CLM-wide urban Zepa of the Lesser Kestrel and we collaborate closely with the Natural History Society of Ciudad Real.

On our routes you will be provided with optical material for birdwatching (binoculars, telescope…) and ornithological guides for consultation.

We carry out routes in the Natural Park Valle de Alcudia and Sierra Madrona, Campo de Calatrava and Mancha Húmeda.
