B&B EL BÚ, RELAXATION, NATURE AND CULTURE.
B&B El bú is located in Peralejos de las Truchas, capital of the Alto Tajo.
A business committed to the territory, which invites you to get to know it from the roots.
Through this small mountain village flow the waters of the brave and crystalline Tagus River, author of large limestone cliffs, in a landscape of great beauty and ecological value.
Imagine waking up every day surrounded by the natural beauty of the Tagus River and the breathtaking landscapes of the natural park. Our village is a true paradise for nature lovers and adventurers in search of outdoor thrills.
El Bú, is an old mountain house renovated respecting the original structure but with all the current comfort, as this space is designed for relaxation, as a starting point to know the wonderful environment of the Alto Tajo and as a place to exchange knowledge and experiences.
Rooms:
The house has 3 suite type rooms, of about 24m2 approx. (2 of them attic rooms with fireplace) very practical and comfortable with all kinds of details for your comfort.
Equipped with queen size bed of 1.50, fireplace (only 2 rooms), 2-seater leather sofa, whirlpool tub with shower, sink, separate toilet, Smart TV, WIFI, hairdryer, towels and toiletries, microwave, toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, fridge…
Common and shared living room
In this room all members of the house can gather around the fireplace, at the table, play games, or consult the guides and publications related to the territory, here you can also find hiking sticks, binoculars and / or the telescope that we have for loan for bird watching and wildlife.
We also have an outdoor space with barbecue.
Commitments to biodiversity conservation and local development
We participate in initiatives for the preservation and enhancement of the natural heritage, the natural park and the territory.
We reduce the use of individual cases and plastics.
Actions in favor of development and the local population (local products, projects, etc.)
We consume fair trade products and prioritize local or home-made products such as our jams or honey.
We maintain a small apiary in the natural park. As there are no crops in the vicinity, it is a very natural and high quality honey, although its production is scarce (compared to the yield of other places). With their sale we repair hives, pay for treatments and the maintenance fees of the beekeeping association. In this way we contribute to the pollination of the park’s flora and maintain a traditional trade.
We are active members in the organization and participation of the Ganchera del Alto Tajo festival, we plan activities throughout the year with this theme to enhance the value of traditional trades and diversify the times of activity.
We support local initiatives of associations and organizations such as festival committees.
We are active members of “La cosechadora Asociación foto-filmica”, an association that works for the decentralization of culture and is developing an audiovisual archive of rural memory.
We clean the dead biomass of the field for heating and carry out other actions such as the “Tajitos” to revitalize the village.
