Arroyo Carboneras Tourist Complex

The Arroyo de Carboneras tourist complex is in a unique location, at the entrance to the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona Natural Park on the banks of the Carboneras reservoir, in Brazatortas, in the south of the province of Ciudad Real. You can stay, eat in its restaurant, swim in its river beach, do multi-adventure activities, come camping…

You can stay in one of our wooden houses with splendid views over the Carboneras reservoir. We have two independent houses with terrace, two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, air conditioning and heat pump. Ideal to enjoy with the family, or for a group of friends. From 4 to 6 persons.

If you prefer, we have a hostel with a total of 54 beds in bunk beds; it is divided into two buildings with 8 double rooms (Chozo Madrona), 5 quadruple rooms (Chozo Alcudia) and three wooden cabins with 6 beds each.

In our restaurant you can smell traditional cuisine, clay pots on the fire, grilled meats and our delicious roast suckling pig.
You can enjoy our river beach and water activities such as canoeing or paddle surfing.

A perfect place to get to know the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona Natural Park by the hand of Madronactiva.

Commitments to biodiversity conservation and local development

Our facilities are an open space where we promote the knowledge and conservation of the Natural Park Valle de Alcudia and Sierra Madrona. Among other actions, the first Biodiversity Days of the Alcudia Valley and Sierra Madrona, the first “biodiverse” camp and the construction of a butterfly oasis have been carried out.
In our restaurant we use tradition, we recover dishes from our grandmothers and we promote local products.
The facilities are equipped with a solar panel installation which significantly reduces our need for energy from the grid.
